The dictionary is a particularly useful aid for everyone who in their private or professional lives or in their studies needs an up-to-date and extensive vocabulary. It contains 100,000 words and phrases from the modern general language as well as subject-specific vocabularies.
The app works off-line, which means that you don’t need to be connected to the Internet once the app is downloaded. Convenient when you are mobile!
Norstedts Comprehensive Swedish Dictionary gives quick definitions of difficult words and expressions, and also more detailed information about meanings and nuances. The entry for each headword gives the part of speech, and entries for nouns, adjectives or verbs also give the inflected forms. In addition, there are a great many examples of how compound words are formed and how they are used in phrases and expressions.
